Interesting fact. In the Krasnodar krai, in the city of Yeysk, a monument to vareniki was erected. It is a large dumpling on a white tablecloth, next to it lies a spoon and a pot of butter. The inscription on the tablecloth reads: Let everyone live like a dumpling in butter! The monument symbolizes the cordiality and hospitality of the inhabitants of Kuban and Yeysk. Vareniki are one of the favorite dishes of the Kuban Cossacks.
